What Makes This Different
Unlike general health education programs, my work specializes in sex education and digital safety. This helps youth critically navigate the messages they receive online and apply those lessons to real-life relationships.

Sessions are:
-
Interactive and discussion-based
-
Grounded in real-life scenarios
-
Designed to build critical thinking (not just deliver information)
-
Facilitated in a way that is honest, engaging, and age-appropriate

"Jess has spoken to my health classes over the years numerous times and has always been professional, knowlegeable, and related to my students. She has spoken on topics such as birth control, STIs, HIV, sexual harassment, human trafficking, sexual orientation, and more. We welcome her passion and down to earth nature. As a teacher I appreciate her professionalism on subject matter that is not always easy to teach. Her passion lights up a room!"

Firstly, I think the [porn literacy] presentation was very friendly for the high school audience. From what I heard from fellow club members, it felt empowering and engaging to have attended this presentation. I think the discussion topics were also very relevant and I know a lot of the club members enjoyed it. I think the way porn was addressed also retained its professionality despite being a more "sensitive" or "taboo" topic. Relating how porn affects our own perceptions of sexual relationships, gender expectations, etc. was important in learning how this media influences our perception of everyday life. Overall, it was a memorable and high-turnout presentation!
